To Make a Report
After you complete your report you will be assigned a unique code called a "report key." Write down your report key and password and keep them in a safe place. After 5-6 business days, use your report key and password to check your report for feedback or questions.
Our Code of Conduct, and the Ethical Policies, Global Dignity at Work Policy, Partner Code of Conduct, and other policies which support it, set out the expectations we have of all our colleagues, contractors, and suppliers, wherever we work.

If you become aware of any activity or behaviour that is inconsistent with our Code of Conduct, Ethical Policies, Dignity at Work Policy or any other of our policies, it is important that you take action. You can report to a manager, or a member of Ethics and Compliance or HR, or to this Speak Up channel via web portal or by phone. The Speak Up online reporting channel is available in English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese. The Speak Up telephone lines are available 24 hours, every day of the week, and in 21 languages.
You must raise any suspicions or concerns that Oxford University Press’s Code of Conduct or underpinning policies are being violated, including:
- Fraud, bribery and other financial malpractice
- Conflicts of interest
- Bullying, victimisation and breaches of the Dignity at Work Policy
- Sexual harassment and abuse
- All forms of discrimination (age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, mental health, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex and sexual orientation)
- Dangers to the health and safety of individuals
- Dangers to the environment
- Other misconduct which is reportable to the police or external regulators
All reports made to the Speak Up channel (web portal and phone) are treated in strict confidence. Reports can be made anonymously, although it may then be more difficult to respond to your concerns. In situations where you prefer to place an anonymous report in confidence, you are encouraged to use Oxford University Press’s Speak Up channel.
Your report will be received by an external third-party hotline provider, EthicsPoint. The information you provide will be sent to Oxford University Press’s Investigations Team by EthicsPoint on a confidential and anonymous basis if you should choose. The Investigations Team will assess the information in your report and may be in contact with you where you have consented to be contacted. You should be confident that you can report ethical concerns to Oxford University Press in the knowledge that your reports will be taken seriously, treated confidentially, and investigated appropriately.
Oxford University Press does not tolerate retaliation against any employee who makes a report in good faith.
